We launched a webinar series called Financial Fundamentals: How Sound Are They? to discuss some of the common financial advice or tips often shared by financial experts, financial gurus in the media and even by CPAs and bankers. We want to take a deeper dive into these strategies and analyze if they help or hurt you.

I covered this topic in the March blog post but the first topic was ‘How Sound Is Your 401K?’. We walked through an example with a fictitious 30 year old Sara who has always followed the advice to contribute the annual max to her 401K account at work. We took a look at what her account would like like at age 65 and age 90.
